January 2012 Hawthorn - Elgin HotelWonderful memories of our wedding came flooding back to us as we watched Ritchie marry close friends of ours on the weekend. It was so very special to witness not only because our friends were getting married, but also because Ritchie was our celebrant two years ago.
It’s true what they say, when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. Although Murray and I had been together for 100 months before he proposed, we couldn’t wait another moment to be married – and so with Ritchie’s help, we turned our engagement party into a surprise wedding!
Ritchie was amazing – he was kind and funny, genuine and down to earth. The way he told our story really reflected us as a couple. We had so many compliments on our choice of celebrant in the days and weeks to follow.
The personal way which Ritchie told our story obviously meant something to our friends, because when it came for G&A to tie the knot, they also chose Ritchie for their celebrant.
Watching Ritchie tell their unique story, this time as a guest, brought back so many happy memories. He was every bit as wonderful and entertaining as we remembered him to be. We’re so happy that our friends are starting off their marriage in the same way ours began, with Ritchie as their celebrant.
